At twenty-seven years old, Libby thinks there's a lot to be said for a rich husband. So when Nick comes along - lovely, funny, handsome Nick, who has no money whatsoever, lives in a grotty North London bedsit and thinks the perfect night out consists of the pub, his mates and a few pints - she decides he's only good for a fling.

No strings attached.

Investment banker Ed, on the other hand, could possibly be the answer. His house in Regent's Park more than makes up for his hideous moustache, she can probably overlook his irritating habits, and anyway he's crazy about her. But does Libby really know what she needs? Is she in love with being loved? Is she loving the lifestyle, rather that the man?

Eventually Libby makes her choice
Let's just hope it's the right one...

I've read a few of Jane Green's books, and have enjoyed them. This is an earlier one that I missed, but Sarah had it and was getting rid so I claimed it for a bit of a read. It sounds as though it'll be good, we've all had a Nick or two along the way, so it'll be interesting to see how this works out. I do have a distinct problem with women who define themselves by the men they're involved with, so this may end up thrown at the wall. I'm fairly optimistic though.
