In The Colour of Magic, the singularly inept and cowardly wizard Rincewind, Twoflower, the Discworld's first tourist, and his remarkable Luggage, were last seen falling off its edge, with no help in sight.

In this sequel, the Discworld is moving towards a seemingly inevitable collision with a malevolent red star, and it has only one possible saviour. Unfortunately this happens to be Rincewind...

 
I wasn't initially that keen on Rincewind and Twoflower, but over the years I've known them I've developed a real soft spot in my heart for them...not to mention the Luggage. I recently decided to buy the Unseen Library collection of Discworld books, so that I had a beautiful set of my favourite series to keep for always. I'm hoping to reread them all, and do it in glorious leather-bound decadence.
